Blood of the Vine

For my senior exhibition, I created a hypothetical red wine company called Blood of the Vine. This company explores the relationship that red wine has with Christianity—specifically Catholicism—pairing various wine flavors with notable Catholic saints. Included in the exhibition were six mocked up wine bottles with front and back labels featuring a full body illustration of a saint and a quick description of the wine flavor respectively. Along with each bottle was a “prayer card” that showcased a more detailed view of the saint illustration, as well as a brief summary of the saint. Finally, I created a mock website for the company which included a home page, about page, and storefront pages. Throughout this project, I strived to create a cohesive brand identity, beautiful research based illustrations, and a product that could appeal to any age and religious background.

Marketing

As a part of the senior thesis, we were tasked with creating a poster advertising the exhibition as well as business cards and post cards that guests could take from the exhibit. After creating the advertising poster, I reused the the image for my postcard, recolored to fit with my personal branding.
